I know hundreds of people are actually looking at this. And now they can actually see what they're getting.
I bit the bullet. I was killed by the same bullet. It doesn't work. Here is pics.
BTW, this cost me 35 dollars.
For anyone actually wondering. The BEST it did was modify my idle. It made the shit crazy!
"Yer Fancy Sticker, 10 dollars."
"Yer fancy case, 15 dollars."
"Yer fancy resistor from radio shack, 5 dollars."
"And 5 fer shipping. Thank you. Hope yer butt feels good soon. Thanks for the purchase ya dumass (DU Maass)."

Can't believe someone actually buys these things.

why don't you return it?

I tried several times to return it and they just kept giving me the same runaround about it not being installed correctly and so on and so forth. I told them 3-4 times that I had it installed correctly, on the correct wires, making sure the wires had contact and I reset my ECU. They KEPT saying the same things over. I told them they had until 4pm on friday I think to give me a definative answer. They blew me off and that is what happened.
I was always hearing the word of mouth rumors and none of them had any true backing to them.
I ended up buying one because I had some spare cash and I thought it would actually benefit others into not buying them. You wouldn't BELIEVE how much feedback this guy has from people buying his product. I left him the worst feedback I could (I actually gave them quite a few chances to make me happy) and they ended up leaving me the same feedback (negative). It didn't bother me but I'm sure the one I left them will be biting them in the ass for months to come.
They should have just given me my money back like they said they would in the auction. Now they have opened a case trying to get me to retract my feedback. lol.
I win with minor damage. They lose with pretty good financial loses.

Obsidian, I'm glad you tore this apart to show me what this "chip" is made of. It's pretty much confirmed my suspicions about it.
Protip: A resistor is not a microchip.

I don't know man I bet that resisitor gives you 30 hp at the wheels easy.
I would love to
the guy that is making money off this.

Hahah, who knew it was a .25 cent resistor that yeilds so much hidden horsepower!!!!
Seriously tho, these things do work on hondas. Just not ours mainly cuz of its size and application. It works better on smaller "sporty" engines. Mainly cuz just about every Honda is NOT a sport tuned car. Like this would work on a base civic and not on an S2000.
Thats why they still sell them because they do in fact work, just not at all for our cars. But still 35 HP I think is pushing it a lil far. I would say anything from a 2-5 hp gain....heh if any at all.
But still, I wouldnt buy that trash. I would take negative feed back to get at these fucks. and refuse to mutally withdrawl.

Don't hit me man. I did it for the greater good! I actually bought it TO test it becuase NO ONE else had hard evidence. It's all here-say, he said, she said, my sister's cousin's best friend's dog had bought one on his land"rover"(haha) and it added 150 ponies!!!
See man. But it's cool. I'll take the slap upsaid the head and raise you
a cold one.
Here is a link to THEIR feedback.
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d … p;frm=1883
And specifically, here is the feedback they left me.
left negative even after assistance. would have refunded. thx 4 purchase! Seller: redlinepowerchip ( 5344) May-11-07 19:00

All these "Chips" do is add resistance to some signal (on my 1997 camry it was on the intake temp signal... i never bought those damned chips)
In a while, your car will adjust to the changed signal, and you will lose said "performance".
It's ridiculous how all he says is "5300+ happy people"
more like "5300+ ignorant idiots served"

All of these "chips" go after the intake air temperature sensor. I cant believe the lame combacks off of some people's feedback. Stupid llamas.

Its true. He saw it. Hell he killed it.
It's cuz that critter I suppose it helps stop any corrosion from happening in there and destroying the 1/4 dollar resistor.

The funniest part about this whole thing (I am bored at work so I read them all) is that poor......Just some F'in retarded kid actually posted a good feedback for a another sentra one a little farther down from yours. LOL
So if he add the NOS sticker and the "chip" + skipped breakfast..... multiply by 6 divide by 2 and that must have given him like 73.8746 HP ..........AT THE WHEELS MAN!!!!!!!
P.S. I am sooooooo bored.

So, is it just me or has the questions for this thing damn near dropped off the map?

its awesome that you took one for the team by buying one of those "super chips".....because I'll be honest...I too have wondered about the "EBAY specials".....but people should know by now.....DO NOT BUY CAR PARTS OFF OF EBAY!!...especially those knock-off brands....you may save some money now...but it will cost you in the long run buy installing the inferior parts on your car...if it sounds to good to be true...then it is...its that simple
its like the people askin about the $75 header on EBAY...i forget who makes it....but wtf!!...do you really want to install a $75 header on your Spec-V???....you will get what you pay for....there are no cheap mods that will gain you large amounts of hp.....trust me

Hey bro, you down to check out the energy cell fuel line magnet???
I, like yourself, wondered about these for a LONG time. Found someone selling it for $20 (now I do not wonder why) and picked one up. I got some placebo effect but after a while I realized it did nothing for me...

I haven't been here in a while. The fuel cell magnets have been debunked by the "Mythbusters" from TV.
BTW, Redline Chips, the people who sold this, yea, they're out of business.
