They are 17's the lip being alluminum makes them look smaller. Well I have a AEM CAI, Megan Cat-back, Axxtion STS and Cable Extender already I just want to lower it, get the ES MMIs, and put a header on it. This is just my daily driver...I am in the market for a 1G DSM.

boo for dsm's haha sorry but all the dsm owners where i live are hella gay cuz they think their cars are godlike fast....but since u drive a spec also i guess i can stand the fact u wanna buy a dsm haha just dont turn into a dick like most dsm owners

Naw...I just want a Turbo AWD platform and DSM's have a huge aftermarket and alot of my friends are DSM Guys and not dicks and they would do anything to help me out, but once the warranty is up on the spec though...It will be an air suckin, turbo spooling, Blow off whistling, Evo Eater
.

Anyone going to MIR today? I will be there a little bit later. Hoping I dont embarass myself. First time with the Spec at the track...

Kevin

to the track eh,
Remember, keep your launch rpms low, around 2k-2.5k and dont worry about reaction time, just get your launch down, and then when youre comfortable, try out the reaction time too.

Yea i researched it pretty well. I have been to the track with may saturn sc2 and pulled out a 15.9 which isn't to shabby with that, but thanks for the advice.

I was assuming that you havent been to a track before since you said first time, I didnt think you meant JUST with the spec.
Yeah, these cars are a lil tricky when it comes to finding out how to launch it correctly. Good luck with that guy.

It needs to be dropped next. If i ever get the right rotors shipped to me (Got the Brembo ones shipped to me) it will have drilled and slotted all the way around and I have Hawk HPS pads ready and waiting for them. Header goes on tomorrow. I also have Luminics Ultra Violet headlight bulbs on order...Should go nicely with my yellow for overlays.

It's amazing how stock wheels look better than aftermarket ( to me ) on most cars. Nice car.

gint, what did you do to the toof brace behind the grill? Did you cut it out or paint it black or left it silver?
Offline

I painted it black. I used the same black for the billet, tooth support, and lower grill to ensure uniformity.

Can you see the toof at all through the grill?

They are vinyl that i layed out and cut at the angle i wanted
Kain wrote:

From up close you can when looking directly through the grill but when you are driving toward it or standing far away no. It isn't that noticable.

You going to Rockville on Friday? I may inspect your grill up close. SPECVBIGGIE is getting my Vee Grill. I'm undecided on whether I want to go with painted billet or painted stock.
