How much shorter of a throw do you want? I have driven my friends WRX witha short throw shift kit and it's about the same as my stock spec v.

Re: shifter

i think you still might be able to do bigj $12 short shifter, but you might be tight on room.

Re: shifter

email axxtion... im too busy fondling my POS broken car right now to do it.  They'll give u detailed instructions of what they need u to measure to they can make a SS adapter for it.  I think its free for the person that gets em the measurements.

Re: shifter

Dang, you guys think the stock shifter is short?  My Si was decent stock but is worlds better with my SS and bushings.. Very crisp and solid..

When I go to drive my friend's Spec, it's insanely long and "loose".  In for the short shifter just so my friend can get one.

Re: shifter

It definetly needs a shorter throw, stock its still a decent throw as far as how far you gotta go to get into gear.

Re: shifter

Hey Guys,

If someone in the so-cal area could bring their 07-08 car over for measurement,
I can machine up some new ones and the guy that helps will get a free Short Throw Shifter for his time.
