Sooo, I can start selling all the stuff to do this modification for probably around $15 shipped. i'd like to know how many people would want to buy something like this at this price.
the modification involved unbolting yourcrossmember, removing the rubber bushings and inserting washers to between the crossmember and the radiator support/body, this tightens up the feel of the car and prevents some of the rocking engine would normally be doing when you take off and just during normal driving. this was developed by me when i found out that my rubber bushings were completely worn out at around 60k miles.
you would get a package which contains the instructions and the parts needed

allright, i'll come up with something today or this week sometime. dunno if i'd tack the washers together, but i'd definately put very clear instructions on how to install them.

hey g, just a heads up that you might have clearance issues if you have a jimmy/tarmaq 4pt ltb. you might have to mess around with the setup to make it work. good luck on the gb, the mod is great

Maciek

you would simply put some washers below the crossmember instead of above it to move the engine up/down to change clearance.

will that put excessive stress on the upper mounts? it seems like my engine is still creaking. the wheelhop is all but gone, but i don't know if my upper mounts are fubr or what.

it'll still work. it limits the wheel hop even more. it actually, makes the mmi more effective.
