As of now i have Dc Header, Stromung Cat-back, Tinted tails, 25% window tint, CAI since the i first joined

Hey guys,..thanx for the comments. I love the look of black cars but what a PITA to keep clean. But its all worth it i think. The tint is a 25% all around. I know a guy with a black 04 and he has 5% and it looks awesome, but i dont feel like gettin pulled over. Anyways, like i talked about in the newbie forum...right now i have a NISMO CAI on and obviously tint. I wanna do a header, exhaust, tein coil overs and somehtin with the sound. Prob around 30 or 40k mi ill think about f/i for sure. Ive been readin up on it alot and its really turned me on...lol.

Very Nice. I love a black Spec-V. Have one myself and i understand how much of a pain it is to keep clean. But once it is, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!

car looks nice and clean... a nice drop on some coilovers and a nice set of 5 spoke bronze 17" rims and that would look perfect! cant wait to see it start coming along...

I bought a can of VHT nite-shades. I prepped them really well and did the first coat really light, second and third coats were medium coats. So all in all about 2 1/2 coats. I used some crappy clearcoat at first and it never did dry to a shine. So i bought some krylon triple-thick crystal clear glaze at walmart and i am more than happy with it. Its super shiny and its been lookin great so far. I wound up having to wetsand down the clearcoat that was dull lookin at first with 2000grit paper. I only did this becuase it was kinda bumpy. Then i sprayed that clear after i cleaned it up real good. So all in all....about 2 1/2 coats of nite-shades, and about 2 coats of clear, but the second was thick. Hope this helps...just take your time doin it and do it like at night when u know u dont have to drive anywhere if its your DD....that way you can let the paint cure totally!

Oh yeah...for all you guys that think the over-lay is a good idea??? Dont bother with it....too smokey of a color and it is totally not dark at all. I have pics if you all wanna see....but def was disappointed when i peeled it off and layed it on my lens...actaully it pissed me off. But oh well. Ill be happy to send pics if ya want.

probably 6-7 hours because pensecola is 8hours
