Sorry to answer an old question but.....

Yes

EVO 5, EVO 6, and RSV's will all clear in a 17 x 7

I've contacted them directly....twice.

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

FYI....dont be afraid to run wheel spacers if necessary...I ran 15mm spacers on my Maxima with 13" Brakes and never had wheel bearing or lug tightness problems...with weekly auto-x and abotu 4 track days a summer....so its something to think about

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

It was an $800 factory option. The calipers alone are $300 each at the stealership.

FastBrakes.com has a kit for $900 that includes upgraded rotors, axxis pads, and the Brembo calipers. They also have Wilwood Kits that start at about half the price.

I got my calipers from a wrecked Spec off ebay. I did hawk pads and Cryo'd and slotted rotors. I think I spent $500 total with shipping.

FastBrakes.com has them for $180 for the pair but I don't know if they offer cryo-treatment.
MyNismo.com has the OE brembos for around $200 for the pair.

INFO: http://myspecv.com/f/t1854-wheels-tires … odies.html

As you can see from the first post with all the wheels the offsets can vary depending upon the maker and how the spokes are formed. Some are 42, 45, 35, etc. . . All geared towards the Brembo package.

As far as pointers and tips, I didn't see that you have Brembos on your car. Wheel and tire choices should take into account different variables like:

What are your intentions with the car? i.e. . . AutoX, Drag, Road Race, Show
Is your car a DD?
How are the majority of roads that you would commonly travel?
How much are you looking to spend?

These are all retorical questions. I would almost 100% gaurantee that someone at sometime has posted results/questions about the same/very similar wheel/tire combo that you're looking for.

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

can't you just use spacers to get the rims to fit?  It worked with my G35 and Konigs all I needed were 15 mm spacers

http://fs.blackplanet.com/dd970579665d28bc497d94978ce2606087c1f31b/437x

I got the project kics wide tread spacers

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

you can use spacers but our cars would prob need longer wheel studs

and you would have to make sure the wheel doesn't stick out too far also

I think that with the wideness of the BC2 body kit with the side skirts, 15mm shouldn't make my wheels stick out too far.  I really liked the brembos when I up graded to them on the infiniti, but I had the same problem with my rims that I am now having with the sentra.  The spacers worked like a charm.  I really like how my 18' motagi tounge look on my car, but I want to upgrade to the brembos.  I want better stopping when I drop in my supercharger and I dont want to spend a grip on the grand turismo system (as nice as it is).

Dang, this was suposed to be my beater car, then I found this damn forum

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

Just got these RTX Kinetics this spring.  The clearance is about the same as the stock rims:

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

Does anyone know if I were to wheel spacers (something from here http://www.ezaccessory.com/4_Lug_Adapter_s/43.htm) if Brembos would then clear my stock '02 rims?  If so what would be the right wheel spacer to buy and would it be worth it?

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

they might work, but that will mess your offset up for sure. you'll be running nearly a ~+30 offset and may not clear the fender unless you do some serious rolling or get skinny tires.

PS: i have two 5mm spacers that are brand new for sale. I got my 5zigens instead of using my enkeis. $20 shipped gets em.

Re: Wheels that clear Brembos

What kind of Enkeis? (Please Say EVO 5 Hyperblack).  And maybe I'll take the spacers if they are what I need to clear the Brembos.  I need to do a bit more research on it.

Right now I am looking at picking up a set of Enkei RSF2 Wheel 17x7, which I think come in a 40mm offset.  Will those clear?

16s won't fit. They're 17s that'll fit w/ 35mm offset.

Thanks man, my goal was rims that matched up nicely with the ride itself and it was tough to find places locally that sold rims for this car.  Sorry for the delay, been a while since I have been back.
