Hay everyone I havent realy done a show off page yet just some pics of my hood so I thought I would post some of the evolution of my car.
bone stock
magnaflow, Eibach springs, DC sport header
the engine bay: Bone stock and dirty AEM cold air intake and still dirty
DC Sport header and clean
Back to a stock (cat delete) header for the full 3" Stromung exhaust getting ready for boost
boost!
as it sits 1/13/07
It's not a show car but it's a fun car.

Do you really want my opinion? Here I'll give it to you anyways. I think it looks way to flashy and huge! It may just be it's not my taste. I like the car though, nice work man.

if you make it alot smaller it would be nice on say your trunk but flashy and all that isnt me. and i would want the attention to stay at the cf hood that you spent 500 bills for than the sticker that cost ALOT less. but it is very clean and well made so props on that.

Thanks for the imput. Yes it is a bit flashy and it does let the cat out of the bag for those who can't put 2 & 2 togather (Intercooler & oh the sound of a turbo spooling or B
V lol). I'm the only spec in my town (not even an se-r) and for miles around me and have come to find that know one even hardly knows of the cars around me so know I'm not trying to be too flashy and all that but I am spending alot of time and money on it and want alittle att. on her just a wee bit
Realy doesnt look so big (6"x 28") if you see the whole car. Bad weather is coming so skooter is going into the garage to hibernate
I dislike winter.......... Thanks again for the impute.

It's a little much, along with the grille. But that's my opinion, your ride still looks good

updated my show off page

Not feelin the random paint stuff, esp the red stuff. But nice turbonetics kit

Offline

Kenny

It's only random if you didnt know that the 02 specs came stock with red highlights in the seats and door pannels. No matter what color spec you baught. Just trying to bring it all togather..... I do like Turbonetics

Offline

Alex

I am completely aware of the interior on 02's. I don't remember it being that bright of a red though. I guess what I am getting at is that I don't like the majority of painted interior parts unless they actually match.

Offline

Kenny

Not sure what you mean. All the interior parts where all painted with the same paint. The red in the seats is darker but I couldnt find an interior paint that mached and I had all the intensions of getting race seats (wich would match better) before "THE LITTLE WOMAN" put her foot down on my car eating away all my extra $$$$$. Oh well you can't win them all and IMO "I LIKE IT" Realy though thanks for the imput.

Alex

Yeah I am just throwin my opinion in. As long as you like it, that's all that really matters. Don't mind me

you should come meet me up at the wcmc autox when I go to tire rack in the summer haha

I like that alot man, The hood sticked is kick ass. Love the Evo style hood/ stromung exhaust/ blue specs. What all did you use to paint your engine parts red and keep the Nissan silver?? I REALLY want to do that, but don't know how.

Offline

I'm like 20 min from downtown chicago, so its about an hour and a half drive for me to get to tire rack and what not, but i mean if we can set up a meet somewhere in the city sometime soon you should try to make it out

It's like a three hour drive from C-ville to Chicago. I don't know if I'll be making that trip anytime soon with winter and all. Thanks for the invite though. Do yo ever go down to US 41 Dragway? I here there are alot of people from Chicago that go there?

i am forever envious of turboed spec v's. i really feel the need to fill that empty space on the bottom of my bumper but something in my back pocket keeps saying no...

I think he's going for the sleeper look though.
Offline

Kenny

I think the sleeper look went out the window when I went with the sticker on the hood lol! I realy don't mind the stock wheels and I would rather spend the money on "go fast goodies" than wheels. Thanks for the impute though

Offline

Terence

i actually like it! not a huge fan of the evo hood but i like it. i wont get one cuz it rains and snows alot where i am. protecct your turbo!
Offline

Micah Petry

That's why I'm kinda sketchy about the EVO hood, but people say they don't have a problem with it, and don't some companies offer some kind of attachment to keep the rain out?
Nice work man, keep up with your passion!

So I went ahead and debadged the Spec today and gave her a bath so here are some new pics including some "DOCK" shots.
