Filled Motor Mounts?

So my turbo is hitting the hood so i need something with a little less give I have es mmi's right now Balance shafts out.  I was wondering if filling my mounts would give less, if so what is best to use and where to get it?

***FYI I took out the rev auto tq dampner becuase of vibrations sounded like my dash was going to come apart...so if it's going to be like that i need to seek a alternate route, Advice?

Re: Filled Motor Mounts?

hmm i looked over that thread, pimpsmurf made it seem like the vibrations are pretty intense.  I've rode in a built civic with as soild urethene mounts as they make it wasn't pleasant for dd...I'm sitting at stock idle too...perhaps window weld is more feasible...

I have Travis’s mounts and Gurov's fix and mine don't seem to shake like pimpsmurf's does, I have some vibes at low idle nothing that terrible and it feels pretty smooth on the highway,
Not really any more than i had w/ new mmi's
Mine is my dd and i drive long distances
Put 1200miles on the new toy in a week

If you were to spend most of your time in heavy, very slow, low rpm traffic I would not recommend these [or the spec for that matter] if you maintain 45mph or higher they seem fine
My wife does not notice or complain about them.

Re: Filled Motor Mounts?

Put the TD back on, it will not vibrate your dash apart. I have about 20k on mine and it is still strong, the dash vibrating will go away in a few months as it breaks in.
