2002 spec v rear ended - might be totalled

Hi everyone,
I haven't been on a SpecV forum in a while, but I thought maybe some members here would have advice or if the car is totaled might be interested in the parts.
I have been rear-ended by a ford focus pretty hard - their airbags both deployed. Back bumper was in pieces, trunk lid is bent, interior of trunk is crumpled and muffler drags on the ground. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be any damage forward of the back of the back wheel.  Doors align. Back windshield is fine.
I am still waiting on news from the insurance. First they said it would probably be totaled until they saw it had only 48K on it.
I'm secretly hoping they'd be able to fix it because I really like that car and I feel I couldn't possibly get something as nice as it was for whatever money they'll give me. I'd be pretty heartbroken too :-( But in all reality it's probably going to be totaled  - is there anyone interested in parts? If it is totaled and there is good interest here I can buy it back from the insurance.
It has the red seats in fairly good shape (a little fraying), the rockford fosgate sound system, it's white. The wheels and shift stick show some use. I have new tires, new brakes, and new battery. What really hurts me is that I took good care of it - always have been careful driving it, never had an issue except for replacing the battery a few months back.
So a few questions - first anyone interested? and second, any advice on dealing with the insurance and getting the most out of it?

Thanks!

edit: my damage looks quite a bit worse than specval's, the car is in no shape to be driven around.

Its gonna be totaled out. Trust me, you wouldnt want the car back if it had that much damage.

Meh, depends on if the frame is bent really.  I smacked my GXE's rear end pretty hard into the center divider.  If you got down and looked under the car, you could see the portion of the frame that was bent.

That's sort of what the insurance guy told me - that they had to lift it to look at the frame and see if it was bent.
I looked under as much as I could when it got on the tow truck and all I saw was the muffler all bent out and on the ground  and the exhaust pipe being out of place - didn't seem like anything else was bent.
It's almost as if you could cut the car right behind the back wheel and it would be just fine forward of that.

The resale of a 02 is only like 5 or 6. Going on what your saying and not seeing it, I bet you have about 4k worth of damages.

Oh, that's a bummer man.

Any aftermarket pieces? I'm in Greensboro, so might be interested if they total it.

Re: 2002 spec v rear ended - might be totalled

I'd be interested in the rims, and tires if they have good tread, I need a second set for all seasons so that I can have a set for racing.

Sucks about the accident though.  I'd rather see you get your baby fixed up but if things don't work out PM me asap about the rims.
