My sunvisor/light is hanging!!

I had a system in my car and i guess the vibrations over time loosened the interior lights where you place your sun glasses above your head. the whole unit is hanging, does anyone know a quick fix for this?

Re: My sunvisor/light is hanging!!

The whole unit just snaps into place, so maybe maybe the tabs became loose?  Other than that, I suppose you could always glue it back in place smiley-laugh

Re: My sunvisor/light is hanging!!

there's a hole in there that can take a fairly large bolt, on the other side of the hole in the plastic, there's a hole in the metal that the bolt can screw into. this is what i have done.

Re: My sunvisor/light is hanging!!

I Had the same thing happen to me, My safc is hanging from there were the sunglass holder was. If you look at the end where the lights are there should be a metal clip, in the middle, where it clips into the headliner. I just bent open the clip a little and it fits snug now. 6 months later no problems.

Re: My sunvisor/light is hanging!!

same issue slightly different problem.  At the end where the lights are the plastic that holds the metal clip in cracked and is no longer holding the metal clip in place.  The solution that I will use to fix it is to use some two part expoy and glue the metal clip back in place.  I will post pics.  when it is done.

A flashlight is used to illuminate, not lite people up.
