E-Brake Question

I recently had my e-brake cable replaced because i stripped the previous one trying to tighten it.

My e-brake works, but its not so good. I park in a drive way with a very steep slope and i don't trust it without some little ramps behind the wheels.

And so, I want to know what are my options to make the e-brake work better?

(Note: Its fully tightened under the hand brake)

Thanks

Re: E-Brake Question

The one right under the hand brake?

If thats what you mean, then i stated above that i stripped it before . . . had it replaced . . . and now its fully tightened . . . and still not so good =/

Re: E-Brake Question

the e-brakes on these cars SUCK HORRIBLY.

when you park, just make sure it is in gear... if you have a turbo timer like me, hills arent a choice for parking lol

Did that . . . is there anything else that i might be able to adjust?

maybe i need to replace my rear brakes? they still seem good though

Re: E-Brake Question

My ebrake still grabs but only when its pulled all the way to the top.

Obviously mine needs adjustment.

Re: E-Brake Question

What I'm trying to say is that it is adjusted to the full extent

there is no more room for adjustment . . . so i guess new brakes?
