a kit will not come with "everything" you need.. still need to get gauges and wideband but i think basic treadstone goes for like 3300+ship wideband is 240or so. then say about 100 for gauges so plus the misc. stuff (oil and what not) so your looking at right around 4000$ total.. (if u do the install on your own) you can buy a used turbo kit for a littel cheaper and save money that way.. as long as it has good components dont go buying ebay shit bc it wont last you the weekend.. but there are a few turbo kits for sale now in the classifieds, including mine, so just shop around.

best way to do it if you are on a budget is piece together a kit or buy one from a member
i think piecing together is the best way to go because you get exactly what you want and you can decide how much money you want to spend

Whats your reasoning behind that statement?
You can boost engine with 150-180k miles without issues, assuming the engine's compression is within specifications and the engine doesn't consume oil...
