im

Im new to the QR25DE. I jus put a head gasket on without taking the timing chain off. So i jus wanted to now would i lose power if i straight pipe mi car, and im rebuilding the motor so what mods or direction should i go. i got cylinder head with 20,000 miles ready to put on and would appreciate any feed back

read around the different sections. .lots of avenues to take with the QR

wtf, no its not. people change cams all the time with out removing the chain.

ok. to clarify for the smiley-asshat's.   it's possible if you remove the chain from the cam gears.. you don't need to remove the entire chain from the crank/cams.
