hmmmmmmmmmm my girl friend is the same way only difference is that we been together almost 6 years (on and off).... ummm i ended up gettin her an ipod nano 3rd gen in pink... thats always pretty cool, not to techy and easy to use and a neat gift plus some boots and coat that she wanted...ummmmm most girls also like shoes and clothes... or how bout also making her a gift basket add some cd's her fav movies couple chocolates a bottle of wine idk... hope that helps

Hmmm girls love Jewelery I think that is the best way to show how much you care for them.  Necklace is what I got for my gf our first Christmas.

that def helps, but she just got an ipod so thats out of the question..lol shes got a TON of clothes, although i do work at american eagle i could get some stuff REAL cheap..lol

From my experience NEVER get a woman clothes w/o her being there. It will almost always be too big or too small. You'd be assed out either way

ha ha what girl DOESNT have TONS of clothes... just add a couple more "cute shirts and pair of pants...

find out what shes getting you then beat it

spa packages do not do they are cliche and can be actualy quite stressful, cooking dinner gives you a chore so thats a no-win for you, going out to dinner is all good but for somereason girls liek something they can hold. best thing you can do is buy/create something with meaning. BUt for whateevr you do DO NOT FORGET TO BUY A CARD... no matter what gift it si make sure you get a card they appreciate the damn money wasted on the card with the chessy saying in it.

I bought my g/f a coach purse... soemthing that she can't use at the office as its a bit more casual so it shows that i appreciate her free time and money well spent... also shows that i might have other things in store fro her( I do nto i really just make shit up as I go along with our dates)

Dave, jewelry never gets old. You could get her like a nice necklace or something, one of those key to your heart type deals..Awww

But a day of pampering is good too if she likes that kinda stuff, some girls don't. In New Paltz they have a couple places that are really nice and split it up into a few days if you want. Like one day she gets her hair done, the next time she goes her nails, massage, pedicure and such. I had someone gimme that one year and it was awesome cause whenever I felt like being pampered I'd go.

Take her to dinner and act like that is her gift, then give her the gift of a day of beauty. She wont expect it and that will make it 10x better

little piece of advice, if u go the jewelery route, its not how much it coust its where its from.....i.e. to go to kay's and buy a $300 necklace....its ok... but got to tiffany's and send $200 looks sooo much better for u

yeah thats true... i dont know if you have it  but its called build a bear usually in the malls and what not...you pretty much custome create a bear from scratch and you can include a voice recording...pretty cool and some brownie points

just dont make her mad cuz im sure that will be the 1st thing she tosses at the wall lol
