This grill says its not for the SE-R or SpecV, but I know some have been able to get other grills not designed for the SpecV to work.

The reason other ppl got the other one to fit was because it was a billet style and they just cut and slightly bent the bars on it, there was no border. If you try that on this grill it will be destroyed pretty much.

I'd call them up and find out if they can. chances are they just need someone to be a test vehicle.

I bought one of the ebay billet grilles for the base sentra...i got it to fit no problem, didn't have to bend or cut any part of the grille itself. Just had to bend up the top 2 tabs where the stock grille used to mount and it went on fine.

Jon

so its the mounting locations and not the size/shape of the grill thats different?

A bit of both...
Here's a link from my showoff page of the billet grille
There's a little bit of extra space on the sides, and a bit less space to reach the latch to open the hood. But like I said the main thing that i had to do was bend up the 2 metal tabs where the stock grille attaches up top
