Hey guys, I'm just wondering what your input would be on what to start with when it comes to bolt-ons with upgrading my suspension system on my 06 Spec V. I'm kinda stuck on what I should start with cause im kinda limited on cash and wanting to upgrade my suspension with installing one bolt-on at a time. I'm thinking the coilovers will be the last thing that I'd want to install cause their kinda expensive right now and they wouldn't fit in my budget (FN christmas shopping!!!). Thanks guys and I really appreciate your input.

What goals do you have in mind? A rear sway bar or something might be a better bet for ya if you're looking for better handling.

Biggest difference. . . RSB!

Well, lets put it this way, I've like to improve the stability of the car. What would be a good thing to start off with: Eibach FSB RSB kit, Tanabe 4 Point Under Bracing, Nismo LTB. I dunno, you guys tell me whats good and what to stay away from (when it comes to specific brands). lol

Do sway bars first for sure, best bang for the buck. Tie bar is easy and cheap too. Shocks and springs after that, maybe?

You need a RSB. You have a FSB stock.
The LTB and the 4pt brace are the same component. The 4pt brace would be better than the LTB. LTB is 2 points only.
RSB would be the best for the buck.
I have the Nismo but I hear the ones that actually drape across the beam are better than the Nismo. But I and a ton of others have the Nismo.
Good luck.

hmmmm.....is it really worth it to change out the FSB cause i heard that the spec already has one and the aftermarket FSB wouldn't make that much of a difference. Is that true?

i thought the tanabe brace made a nice difference.

aftermarket FSB aren't that much thicker. You could get FSB poly bushings and call it good

Does Tanabe make a brace for 06 Specs? (This may be a stupid question)

Perhaps upgrade to koni shocks. Stock dampning is horrible.

Yes. A 4pt underbrace A.K.A. tie bar. http://www.tanabe-usa.com/underbrace/underbrace_app.asp
This brace reduces ground clearance the least.

You'd have to call around/ beg/borrow/steal/pry one from someone's dead cold hands. Nismo for teh b15s is going away

i have a tarmaq 4pt lower tie bar, they dont make them any more, but the jimmy bar is the same thing. if you find either one of those, they work really well. even the 2pt nismo bar is good. i also have the nismo rsb, and my suspension feels 10x better with just those two mods. imo changing out the fsb is unnecessary, because we do have a stock one, and the aftermarket ones arent much bigger.....i feel like my car handles great the way it is.

Best Bang for Buck Suspension...IMO
1st: Strut Bar (Cheap Easy to Install Makes a Big Difference)
2nd: Rear Sway Bar (Also Cheap with noticeable gains in the handling department)
3rd: Tein S-Tech Springs (Lowers center of gravity, stiffens the ride a bit and helps complete the look)

Found a link for you, http://performancenissanparts.com/products/?id=2497
It is the Nismo R-tune Rear Sway Bar for 2000-2006 Spec V applications
The sway bar works on ALL B15s (00-06)
Still might wanna call/e-mail and ask about availability

Just an FYI... stay away from the Nismo LTB. Mine rubs on my crossmember and makes a horrible squeaky/creaky noise during low speed driving. Worst Nismo product ever, IMO.
My suggestions for a first suspension mod would be RSB and Tanabe brace.

Well, after reading all of your input, im purchasing the Nismo RSB (if i can find one), and the tanabe brace. Thanks guys and i appreciate ya getting me out of the glue.
