anybody have LEDs in front turn signals?
Anybody out there have LEDs for their front turn signals? Just curious. I have LED taillights, LED rear side marker light, 5W LED rear turn signals, LED license plate lights, LED back-up lights(custom made by me) and LED dome light. All I have to do now is get my LED maplights and Im all set. As far as the front I hear people say the heat from the headlights would kill the LEDs. all comments are welcome, and hopefully will be posting some pics of my work here shortly. Thanks.

I have led turn signals up front. Ive had them like that for about 2 years now and havent had any problems with them
h/i/e, d/s rotors, 10k hids, pnp intake mani and tb, emanage, now turboed

I have had them for about 2 weeks now and the only problem is my signals are blinking faster then normal. This doesnt bother me but it does my wife. I am planning on putting LEDs for the reard too so hopefully that will fix the problem.

i think you need to add something for the fast blinkers. its just the relay or whatver is used to having so much current from the old turn signals, and now the leds use much less. that makes it blink faster..if that makes sense

hey 06Silver Spec, change out your electronic flasher, thats what I did. not too hard of a job to do. Theres a write-up on here saying what flasher you have to buy. Type in "plug n play LED turn signals", scroll down to Dark-Vs post and click on it, tells exactly what to order. After I changed the flasher, I havent had a problem with fast flashing, now its only very slightly faster than the stock flash rate.

I had them for about 6 hours... the bulbs blew half the fuses in my car and made my blinkers blink fast. Then they proceeded to the garbage can.
