You get used to them... I wouldn't think they would "break in".  Just like I don't think my car is quick or rough until I drive my wife's car for a week.

I’m 71 and drove on them 9 hours straight without complaint
  My garvi [gps] on the windshield with no vibes apparent
How bad can they be ?

I also have guruvs famous fix and tein ss coilovers
I have not experienced them as terrible ether and definitely disagree with guruv's statement that they [washer fix] are not for pussies
