exhaust leak?
I have a xs power 4-1 header and i think i have a exhaust leak where the header connects to the midpipe. i have the spring bolts as tight as i can get them w/o stripping but there still is a space between the flange and midpipe. when looking at the connection u can kinda even see the donut gasket. i would appreciate it if someone can take a pic of their 4-1 header and midpipe connection to see if it looks like its closer together than mine. thanks.

i think i have the same thing and it sound like shit when you floor it 
OuttaSpec: So I went out to my car and said "tisk tisk" but nothing happened. So I got closer and said it again, same result. So I got right up on the engine and yelled "TISK TISK!" but still the stock pulley was not replaced with the new one. The only thing that happened was my neighbor came out of his garage and looked at me weird.

no, it doesnt sound real bad but i think i can hear a slight wooshing sound when kinda accelerating hard in the lower rpms.almost sounds like a turbo. the header sounds a bit louder and raspier than with the stock header but i think thats normal.

Sorry to say I don't have a picture for you. I just got my exhaust installed two weeks ago. But I drove around with my XS header on stock exhaust for a long time and it sounded horrible the whole time. After beating the gasket with a hammer for about 15 minutes to stretch it out, my friend and I jammed it in there and then cranked the hell out of the spring bolts. But there was definitely still a noticeable gap. We never looked into how to get it more flush coz we thought I was gonna get my custom exhaust soon after I absolutely could hear that leak when driving, but I would never say it sounded anything like a turbo. Sounded more like a lawnmower....or a civic.

yea, idk maybe the xs header just doesnt fit perfectly with the stock mid pipe. mine doesnt sound as bad as urs did though cause i still have a nismo catback so its not completly stock. maybe i should just accept the way it is and move on.
