water pump going bad, how to replace one?

hey so i took my car to my mechanic because of a weird noise, and he told me it seems like i might be needing a new water pump very soon. My coolant level is going down very slowly so i know there is a leak by the pump pulley. Is it hard to replace a pmup on an 04 qr25? if so is there a how to?

as usual, check the FSM. that should tell you everything you need to know. i find it weird that a 4 year old water pump has already gone bad...

you might have to remove the altenator to get to it easily, its only like 3 bolts if i remember correctly.  ive only done it on a motor out of the car.
