I wanna upgrade my HID's to 55w. Potential Problems?

Would upgrading to 55w cause any problems besides extreme glare? I wanna get these to prepare for projectors. Can this melt my housing or harness?

i have had 55w in my car for about 4 months with no problems.  just make sure you aim them lower cause everyone will flash their beams at you.

Please don't put these in the stock headlight housings. 35's are bad enough with glare and the 55's would only be worse...
