NOMINATIONS ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED!

The Car of the Quarter (COTQ) will be chosen by you - the members of this forum. The winner will have a thread dedicated exclusively to their car being featured on the main page of this site, and will forever go down in history as one of our best cars! (Quite the achievement )

There is a brand new format that we started last quarter with great success! All nominees will proceed to a prelim voting around for one week, and then the Top 5 from that round will go onto a final voting round where the winner will be determined.

How it's going to work/the rules:
-It is open to all SE-Rs/Spec Vs/2.5 LE's, regardless of modifications, 2002+. (Sorry to all of you without a SE-R+, but we'd like to keep this car specific to the site)

-Each member can nominate ONE other member

-You can NOT nominate yourself

-If nominated, you can decline

-Nominees MUST currently own the car

-You can only win once

-Admins and mods ARE ELIGIBLE to be nominated

-DO NOT NOMINATE: robbie2883, PUTZ Spec-V, SPECVBIGGIE, smartbomb, ProZach626, JonSE-RTurbooooo,or cute02spec. They've already won. If you still nominate them, you will not get another chance to nominate.

How to nominate:
-Send me, COTQ, all nominations in a PM. I will NOT accept nominations that are posted in this thread or in the chatbox, or sent to the wrong person. Any nominations posted in this thread will be deleted.

-Tell me the username of who you are nominating. Do not worry about including their pictures or mods, as they can provide that to me later, or even an explanation.

**Look over the list carefully. If your selection has already been nominated, you will not be able to nominate someone else. One chance, don't blow it***

Nominations close November 7, 2008. Then the preliminary voting thread with all nominees will be started November 10, 2008, and voting will be opened until November 16, 2008. The Top 5 from the preliminary voting round will then go onto the Finals, which start on November 17, 2008 and close November 23, 2008.

I will send you a PM requesting 4 photos of you car along with a detailed mod list, and a short "about you" which you can use to talk about yourself, the car, whatever by November 9, 2008 to be included in the voting (if you do not make that deadline, you will NOT be included in voting, and it's a firm deadline). The person who nominated you will remain anonymous. You can decline if you wish.

Don't get too excited These things are pretty hard to predict who will win, and you might never get nominated again!

youre right, but id rather take my chance with winning with a 700hp car than 500hp car:) i mean lets face it, the 500 mark will be broken soon, so it wont mean much in the next few months.

well who ever nominated me thank you, I'm flattered, I may not have the most powerful spec v on here but I am proud of what I have accomplished and am excited to be nominated, reguardless of what I put down for whp count me in, like one metioned I may not be nominated again so I'm taking advantage of it now, thanks again

P.S. dyno session scheduled in two weeks(more mods) so more whp to come , nothing crazy still targeting mid 500's wish me luck.

heidi, after talking to a friend about htis im gonna decline mine. he made a good point and it was somehting i was already thinking about. why take the chance of winning and never get it again when the care is at 50%. id rather wait till my car is complete to try again.
