QR20DD = direct-injected version of QR20DE. Found in a Bluebird Sylphy.

Mine isn't worthless... you have to order them from Japan... that's what wiperdragon had to do to get his.

the qr20dd is 10.5:1 in a QR25 the compression ratio would be like 16:1. The standard 9.9:1 QR20 pistons are 12.4:1 in the QR25.
please elaborate
you say this because of the longer stroke on the qr25?

if someone has a better idea on where to get these, more power to them, they're dropin replacement, 13.2:1 compression ratio:
these are qr20de

2 questions here:
a. Will the stock block hold up a 13.1:1 compression ratio or does it need to be sleeved?
b. Any ideas on the price of the pistons? I'd like a set for my car, I'm interested in an N/A build.

prolly not sleeved but Im sure youll have to run some sort of race gas or do something to increase the octane so you dont get knock. I think will messed with the timing to get by running race gas but idk.

timing doesn't get messed with by running race gas.
you'd just have to make it not knock by dropping the timing a bit - standalone, or some other box that changes timing.
the stock block holds up whatever these pistons put out just fine, you have to control it correctly. not that big of a bump in power anyway, turbo is easier and more fun

yeah i worded that badly, i meant either youll have to run race gas to keep the knock down or do something with the timing

Damn he must have same way of controlling timing, run alky or race gas... To prevent the engine from knocking and detonation...
Thats crazy, though... I wouldn't even dream of running nitrous with that high of compression...
