My buddy was disappointed for some reason.
I told him that was a good #.
I don’t have a compression tester.
His #’s are max power 171.47 max torque 164.91

That's a weird tq number to be getting, QR's almost always make more tq than hp.

I do have a question for you regarding weight reduction.

Doesn't really matter, the dyno corrects for that.

the dyno i was at didnt know how hot it was outside nor the time or altitude. I really dont even know if the corrections were for a 1.8 sentra or 2.5. The only thing it said when he set it up was for a 2000-2006 sentra. nothing else was put in. Granted it could be right, but from the crap whole place i was, who knows

+1
Thats what I'm thinking...
Cams & tune will make more hp than tq.

Well he bought the car, but did not know what had been done to it.
It appears to have had body work. It's kind of messed up but a least its fast.
My dyno #'s seem to be lower than what I thought they should be. The guy at the shop put my friend’s car on for comparison.
All this time I thought my nemeses was no good, he never has money.
Now I am behind him. I had to leave with my tail between my legs!
Still fun anyway, now I have something to work on.
I think the flywheel might be an important factor.this is going to be the first thing new to go in.
the cams I have to wait a while on.
My plans in order are.
Lightweight flywheel
Cams (jwt)
BS kit or chain cut.
Advance timing + 2
MMI.

Dont do the lgihtweight flywheel unless youre changing the clutch as well; otherwise its just gonna cost another/extra 5-600$ later on for no reason
BSR is a definate must and the kit only cost 80-100$, labor is a pain if you cant do it yourself.
Advancing the timing could be free; but not more than 30$
MMI cost 30-50$ and are easy to do yourself
Heres my .02
Advance the timing on your next day off
Order the MMI and pick up approx 14 3/4" washers from lowes (cost 3-4$) install both the day you recieve them, only takes half an hour
Oder BSR- If you cant do it yourself, save up the cash for labor (that would be 3-400$)
Save up for FW and clutch (labor FW and clutch will cost about a 1000$)
