I got hit in my spec-v today, bad!
The guy ran a red light and hit me on my side and then my car slammed into a telephone poll on the passenger side. I am ok, banged up, but lucky as hell. I was headed north on college and some guy ran the light at 52nd st, slapped right into my driver's side door, air bagged popped in my ear and then then the collision threw me into a telephone poll by habig's.
Please total this car out.

nope, some older dude wasn't paying attention.
I've been in the ER all day.
Ugh. 07 with 6500 miles on it.
I doubt I'll get another, but what I do get will have side curtain airbags again, those I think saved me.
I owe a lot on this car, but I have GAP insurance so I'm ok either way. It would be nice to start with a clean slate and get something different. This is my 3rd Spec-V, so I'm kinda done. Had an 02, 04, and an 07.
Probably an 06 xB.

WOW that sucks man...its gonna be totaled...same thing happend to my girl she got an 07 tc and we owed like 4 grand on her hyundai...that carried over to her new tc, they crashed her and they totaled the car out. insurance paid what the scion was worth and the GAP covered the rest...clean slate when she got her 08 Scion TC... didnt mean to thread jack just givin you a little heads up, you should be ok GAP just took forever to cash out the remainding amount...again good thing that your ok man!!!

Car is totally totaled. However, right there is a prime example of the awesome safety build into our cars. The door beams did there job, as did the crumple zones, and airbags. That reason alone would make be buy another one.

good to see that your alright. if i could start over, i would get something with a larger trunk. i tried to fit one of those rubbermaid tubs you get from wal-mart in the trunk and it wouldn't fit. i also tried to fit a regular size ice chest in the trunk and it wouldn't fit. Next vehicle will probably be an SUV of some sort or a truck. I love the new tundra's. some body hit me....no wait i don't have gap.

Well, car is totaled, insurance is giving me $19,011 for it. Luckily I have Gap insurance as I rolled over some negative equity from a previous trade.
I looked at an RSX over the weekend and tomorrow looking at a new xD.

car is gone, I got what I needed out of. Not sure where they are taking it after it left the tow yard lot. I'll miss the torque and stereo, but that's it.

I was in accident about a year ago and my neck felt alittle stiff right after the accident, I never thought about but 2 days later I had whiplash really bad!! So make sure u feel good after it my take a couple days to recover or find any injury's! That was a hard hit u must be pretty shaken up!!!
The new B16 has a very good frontal and side impact ratings!!

In almost all deceleration accidents you will have some form of whiplash. Get it checked out and get it taken care of. You don't want your neck messed for the rest of your life
