Goodbye Conti #1!!
Well since my lazy ass didnt patch my front left tire, it was flat and kept driving on with it for about 2 weeks, occasionally filling it up with air. Today it was flat but it was like that since yesterday. So i decide to go to the mall with my girl and afterwards go patch the tire. So on our way to the mall my girl tells me that she smells something burning, im like yeah i smell it too, at first it smelt like burnt tire, i figuired it was since these 2 hondas infront of me were racing. so about 2 streets later, we still smell it. then i get alarmed and im like wtf is this? so i pulled into a 7 eleven thinkin its my tire so ima just put air in it and bam!!! SMOKE!!!!! the tire fuckin melted! So i take it off and im like fuck!!!!!!! put on the spare and go to the tire shop. got some cheap used one for 45$.... fuckin a. could saved 35 bucks.... Lesson learned.... dont roll with flat tires!

Mine died of natural causes at about 15,500 miles!! All four tires, almost down to the wear markers. The droning from these tires at highway speeds was driving me insane. The Contis aren't THAT sticky to wear out that fast...all highway miles at that!! So I put a set of Sumitomo HTR Zs on it today at a little under $400.00 intalled. The reviews on Tire Rack were pretty good. The price was right, just waiting to upgrade to some 17x8 wheels and a set of 235/45s (Falken Azenis RT-615). Those Contis are too expensive for such a mediocre tire,Good luck!!-Doug
