Yea i am actually polish. POLISH PRIDE!!!!!!! lol. That bimmer in the background is actually my dads, his doing a engine swap. Hes taking out the original 4 cylinder and putting in the euro version e36 m3 engine. 333 horsepower on a car that weighs about 2800 lbs. And definetly the next thing i do to the car is lower it. It just doesn't look right sitting up that high.

Nice Spec. I bought my Spec off of German guy in the Elgin area. I do like those wheels on our Vibe blue cars and yes in time the mods do add up. When I picked mine up the only "mod" to it was neons under the seat and a front end colision that I didn't find out about till I got her home. No regrets though.

Nice ride
Lower it. If you don't want to spnd much money, get Eibach pro-kit springs. I have set on my ride and they are great! I got them used for $80 shipped...lol
Get rid of the bypass valve... It's crap and it actually robs you of some power... Just replace it with 3" silicone coupler. No need to worry about hydrolocking. I had a cai for two years without bypass valve, without issues, when I used to live in Chicago...

thanks man. i was thinking about getting the pro-kits but in order to do it the right way u have to get the koni yellow shocks which are like $600, for that price i could just get the nismos. i guess if i find some used for a good price i will jump on those, but i dont want to run them using the stock shocks. as for the air bypass valve, how does it rob hp, i heard it only is in use when it detects water, otherwise the air flows through as though there is no bypass valve.

Nah, you don't need the koni yellows. I have had the Pro-kits on my car for a year, without issues with stock shocks. They don't drop the car that much to blow the stock shocks. They might wear the stock shocks faster than stock springs. Maybe two to three years or more, depends how much you drive. By that time you can have enough money to drop the koni's in...
For the intake's best efficiency you want the piping to be straight 3" all the way. The bypass valve is wider than 3" in its widest spot.

how does ur spec handle w/ the prokits on stock struts? i heard from people that the handling is worse when u put the prokits on stock struts. im not going for just the look, but performance also.

The handling is just fine... Less body roll due to stiffer spring rates. I have yet to bottom out...
Don't take my word for it, though... I don't autox or track the car (no money), so I didn't really push the car to the limit with the pro-kits.
I confess, I got the pro-kits only, because they were cheap and because I hated the stock ride height.

Winterized spec. I hate snow.
