Where to sound deaden

i go a whole buunch off dynamat.. and my main goal is to make the xhaust softer from inside the car since im runnning a straight pipe to the exhaust... just wondering where because the doors already seem to have rubber deadner in them so yea. wud sound proofing the trunk help make the exhuast quiter from the cabin?
