I'm so freaking excited. I was going to get my self a 300zx 2+2 VK56 project, but it fell through. I still wanted to get a RWD project, mostly a 240sx....and this is what I got today. Here's a pic of it stock:

It has no motor or tranny, the interior is gutted, and it had a bodykit on it (which I will be removing) but the dash is uncracked (BIG PLUS for me), and the previous owner still has all the interior pieces, and it is coming with the car. I plan on a swap anyway (either an SR, or an RB), so it not running is ok. I'll take more pics when I take ownership, and will go through the entire build step by step for everyone to see...

I also am getting a new job next week, so I'll have even more money to put into it, so hopefully this doesn't take too long

I plan on keeping the B15 until I can pay it off enough to sell it, unless I come into tons of money for a the VQ swap we've been talking about doing. I am also looking at getting a Nissan Hardbody soon, to be the new DD

eh...Probably not, but ya never know.

The only thing I am certain of, is the color....Millennium Jade (hence the name for this project). I still have to make up my mind on a lot of it...there is just so much I can do

Alright well got the car home this weekend, finally posting pics up...

So I have alot ahead of me. The next couple weks I'll be finishing tearing the rest out, cleaning it up, and geting it ready for media blast, so we can figure out what other areas have rust. After that, it's a shock and awe campaign on the rust, then body work...I'll be sure to keep it updated so you guys can see the progress on this track/drift monster...

yeah, it's all fixable though....especailly when you work for Nissan and get discounts on parts

and for free, I can't complain...I'm just excited to get it all fixed, so I can start building it instead of restoring it

I found myself one a few years back and ended up with this sitting in the shop wishing I could afford to finish it. It took a while but shes rust free now, lots of new rocker and floorpan in her.. The frame was up 16mm and in 38mm on the right rear...

lol...I have no doubt this will take some time, as I see it I need:

-New core support
-Drivers side hoodledge
-passenger side rocker panel
-I'm going to tub the front and rear so I can run my 9.5" wide tires no prob
-New drivers side center section of frame rail
-New driver side rear section of frame rail
-both lower quarter panels
-Drivers side floorpan

and that's just to take care of the rust (media blast may reveal more), and I guarntee there's rust in some of the seams. Then I need to fix the drivers side rear quarter panel, and get the dents taken out of the passenger side door, and get anew drivers side door (or cut the section srounf the handle out and replace that). Then she should be ready for suspension and interior work (cage, new dash support built in), new carpet etc, etc....I wil be sure to keep it up to date as much as I can....
