so i had and still have a problem...

so i was jus drivin around one fine evening lol and notcied my car sounding kinda weird lik a putt sound 1nce in a while and  i was lik wow thats weird so then i started stalling once in a while .... while in nuetral at a stop so i checked the plugs and my number 1 spark plug was fully closed lik wtf!!!! lol when i bought the car it had the same problem and had 2 get my idle reflashed and evrything was fine after that so i put a new spark plugs in and its onli puttin once in a while very littlle bit but you can feel it i gapped the plugs at .45 and dont know what else it can be its kinda hard 2 explain on the computer.  myabe sum1 can help....

Ive got an 03 and I had the same problem a year ago except in cylinder three.  what we found is that one of the butterfly screws in the intake manifold worked its way out and went into the cylinder and banged around, lucky for me it must of fired out the tailpipe cause there was no sign of it in the head or the rest of the engine.  As a result i have random multiple cylinder misfires that are completely random as in the car runs great for a month and then one day when idleing it sets the cel, then its good for another month.

Your butterfly screw is the problem. You better do it asap, and make sure that the screw that was bouncing around is gone or you will go through spark plugs.
