Hey Guys,
So after I installed the ES MMI's, I noticed this really loud rattle noise coming from what sounds to be behind the center dash console. However, I'm not 100% positive about this. I will try to explain it the best I can...
When I'm idle and have my foot on the brake, the rattling happens. When I rev the engine it goes away briefly but then returns. If I begin to drive the car, you can hear the noise for the first 2000 to 2500k RPMS and more so when I engage the clutch to shift. Once I get the car up to around 55mph, the noise is completely gone and doesn't return until lower rpm's and speed.
At first, I thought it was my Alpine Mobile LCD unit because of all the dangling wires but I took the unit out and the noise was still happening.
I know it could be a ton of things, but has anyone else experienced this problem before? I plan on getting the car on the lift this saturday to check all my nuts and bolts on the cross member to make sure none of them are loose.
Any help would be greatly appreciated fellas! Thanks!

MMI's increase vibes because they're stiffer than stock. This transfers more NVH into the cabin. It's normal.

Well... I dunno. It just sounds like a rattle from a loose bolt or something. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything serious. I don't wanna be driving down the highway and BOOM, something comes off...

Just thought I'd update the group on this one...
Turned out to be a loose Lower Tie bar. After putting it on the lift, I tightened all the bolts that I touched during installation and no more rattle! :-)
