Turbo Question!!

Hey i'm new and i have a 04 Spec V and i'm thinking about boosting my car because i now have the money to do so. My goal is to hit over 350 hp. What internal stuff needs to be done? and what kits are good in fitting this goal? Thanks for everyone's help.

peice your own kit together.

sc61 turbo

3inch down pipe and exhaust.

use the MS standalone to tune with b.c. its cheap, and SUPER easy and works perfect.

Stock can handle 14 psi for sure. IIRC a member hit just 400whp on a stock block

Sure it can.  I made over 300, as well as lots of other people.  hell, one guy is making 400 on a stock engine.

If you want, you can tear the head off, put in a block guard and a good head gasket with some Turbo cams, but, thats up to you.   if you are gonna go that, might as well do it all since the head is off (as far as the HG and all that)

Re: Turbo Question!!

I'm looking on sites for the sc61 turbo's. It breaks it into T4 turbo and T3/T4 Turbo. Which one?

Re: Turbo Question!!

You're gonna wanna go with the T3/T4 unless you have a custom manifold that is flanged for a straight T4. Most all of the Spec manifolds have a T3 flange. U need to check out some of the stickies. All of the ??'s you are asking are answered right there....
