If there is a post about this already, sorry just ignore me - but I didn't see one so I'm posting one.
First off, I just want to say that I am a mechanic (it's how I make my living so I'm not a total NOOB going into this project...
Heres my problem.
I'm stuck on the intake cam. The bolt on the timing chain sprocket WONT FUCKING COME OUT! I've tried standing on the car, with my friend holding the cam in place while I pull at the 1/2 breaker bar, that didn't work - next I removed my P/S resivour and hooked up the trusty impact gun to it, the fucker still won't budge...
Has anyone had this problem? I can't seem to get that bastard to break loose. I've had 'stuck' nus and bolts before, but I have NEVER had one this hard to get out.
Any help is appreciated!

that was funny, but let's keep that stuff off of the forums. ZUMIE, I would recommend a large cheater pipe to do the job (6'-8') you can HomeDepot it for about $10. Worked wonders with my balancing shaft bolts.
just in case

lefty loosy righy tighty.
I can't imagine someone pulling on the braker bar, maybe pushing, but not pulling, on that cam sproket.

Ha ha, I weigh 188 and max out my bench at 325, so I think I have the 'man' part covered... It was funny though

I can't f'ing wait to get this thing back together........ I've been forced to drive the 'alt' witch is a 2006 Mazda 3 with a panzy 2.3 lol

I think that the dude who built my engine was uber buff... Because the bolt was insanly tight. I had a 4' cheater bar from Lowe's that helped me remove it
