Fuel pressure gauge install

So... how do you go about hooking this thing up to your fuel system to read the pressure?  Thinking about getting one...

Re: Fuel pressure gauge install

unfortunately you'd have to cut the stock hose for something like this to work. and i don't believe the stock hose is the most friendly thing to hose clamps...

Re: Fuel pressure gauge install

We could use this in-line adapter to mount the 1/8 NPT pressure sensor/sender.  Anyone knows the stock fuel hose size...AN-6 or -8?

Remove the stock "hose" all together and use 5/16" high pressure fuel injection line w/ a T adaptor or whatever for the sensor. Getting the stock hose off is a bit of a bitch. I used a razorblade and went really really slow. haha

Please post a few pics of that setup.  I'm going to be installing a fuel press gauge soon as well and I'de like to have a visual beforehand.

YUp, I used a razor blade and cut a little slit where it went onto the fitting for the fuel rail and comming up on the fire wall, and just replaced it with goodyear 5/16 fuel line hose.

Also, Use FUEL LINE CLAMPS.  not normal worm claps.

Please post pictures of where/how you mounted the pressure sensor and what fittings you used.

lol Norb definitely change over the fuel line but you don't need an adapter like they have to run a fuel pressure gauge. you need a 4AN female to male 1/8th NPT gauge adapter. If you buy the fuel pressure gauge they Normally come with it.
