Thanks "MySpecV" for a wonderful stay but I must be moving along I suppose.
Not much more to say except that I had a great time on the Forum. I made a few friends and learned alot about the car. But because of my growing family I will be looking at a larger car. Actually, I will be looking a a used Mercedes Benz E55 AMG.
I need something for those long trips down the highway from San Francisco to LA/Disneyland.
Thanks again! It is nice to know that my car is now imortalized on MySpecV's banners. See ya guys around.

I bought a Mercedes Benz C32 AMG. Certainly not an E55 but almost the same in performance. Its size is similar to the Sentra but its ability for freeway travel is what I need. Given the weight and accomodations of the C32 as well as the extra HP make it a better choice for a familu car and a business travel partner. (Live in SF and office and clients in L.A.)
These pics are prior to mods. Installing a set of HR springs and Bilsteins soon. Moving up to a set of 18 X 8.5 front and 9.5 rear later in the year. And if you are wondering about its performance. It is pretty damn fast. Out of the box it has appx 350hp. 1/4M in the 13's.

Still love the Nissans! Maybe a Murano one day.

Ooo very nice indeed!
So if you could afford a Benz why did you have a spec in the first place?

Well... the Spec-V isnt an inexpensive car. I purchased the Sentra for the MPG's. But since the purchase in May of 2007 I got married and have a new baby. I also have two girls from a previous marriage. My wife has a 4cylinder gas miser and we needed something better for the highway. First I thought of the E55 but the price was more then I wanted to commit. Although beautiful, its V8 would be too much as a daily driver in San Francisco.
Considered the M3 Convertable but I needed 5 sets of seatbelts. Considered the CLK430 too but that model also does not offer the center seatbelt in the rear. Then the C32 came up. I did some research and took some time to look for the right one. I happened upon a very nice original owner with 40k miles and also a factory CPO warranty.
It is a very good car. My girls miss "Crystal" as they called the Spec-V. I kinda do too. It was my first new car in many many years.
Cheers!
