Would someone mind explaining, or taking a picture of how to do a heel toe downshift in this car? When I try to do it, i put my foot on the brake, and when i tilt my foot to press the gas, it goes between the brake and the gas. I've done it in other cars just fine, but I'm having trouble with it in this car.

ive had no trouble doing this, you just have too keep guessing and trying until you find a spot that is comfortable and flexible. Just takes a lot of trial and error man.

LOL... I was able to heal toe perfectly in the spec..... Once I got a nice WIDE gas pedal cover... The pedals are to far apart to do it correctly without pedal covers. I had a Sparco "wide" pedal covers.. Made heal/toe a sinch.
And here is a great vid on "How To" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JliPGde8jMM

I can do it just fine, but is it absolutely pointless for me.
Yes it is, I daily drive and theres no reason to heeltoe, Just drive normally and save your energy for something more beneficial like railing your girl or something.
Don't waste it on learning how to do something pretty much useless for anything other than hardcore performance driving.

Well I like to drive hard in the mountains, so I could actually benefit from it, as I have seen others do it.
I agree it is pointless to do around town, which is why I don't.

I've done it in race cars with no issue, but I find it damn near impossible in this car. The brake pedal is too far forward compared to the gas pedal, and they are way too far apart. I think if I were to get some some larger pedals, and have the positioning adjusted I'd be able to do it fine, but thats seems kinda pointless.

You don't have to heel-toe to revmatch. If you're quick enough, you can hit the gas after leaving the brake and then disengage the clutch. Knowing when you can come off of the brake is key. If heel-toeing is faster, it will be just barely.

I'll video tape how I do it in my car; EVERY car is different though. It depends on your pedals length, position, foot's shape etc.
in this one I actually touch the brake with my foot's left part (big toe), and the gas with my right foot's right part (little toe);
Can't actually HEEL-TOE, but I TOE-TOE because of the position of the pedals.
