I can personally vouch for these rotors. I've had them (slotted) on my Brembo equipped Spec for over 20k miles. Great price for a damn good product

i guess i was thinking that with a group buy we would get some kind of discount

Offline

Allen

well it would be a discount for a package deal of the 3 items. techna-fit ss lines are 115 from their site. but i already sent an email last night asking about gb pricing for just rotors and pads. and also how long they wanna run the gb for and if theres any color options for the ss lines

Yeah, since I already have lines I'd just want pads and rotors. Regardless, they have really good prices.

and since i'm going to do the z32 brakes i dont need the front pads. or any pads for that matter. we need to see all the different options we can do. i.e. front rotors only, back rotors only, pads only, front rotors and pads only, etc...

Are these rotors zinc-coated? i am damn sick of that ugly rust.

Im at 39k miles, and they dont really need to be replaced, but Id like to be able to stop better.. and my rotors are blue from being cooked by some hard braking

Jacob

I can vouch for these rotors, I bought slotted rotors with the hawk pads and goodrich ss lines and my car stops... really well.

One of my stock rotors, the brakepad is like... broken... so only half of it is being used in braking...yeah... brakes... desperately needed... on my SE-R. Slowing down from 85mph at the track is scary... 85 isn't even that fast!!!!!!! ARGH!

I like only slotted, but sometimes it's really just personal taste I suppose.

the only thing with drilled rotors is you run the risk of cracking them. I've never had a drilled rotor not crack on me, but I"ve also only tried two sets...both brembo, before I switched to slotted. Slotted and dimpled would be the way to go.

do you have, or is it suggested, to upgrade your calipers (for non brembo) or is that not needed?

not if you choose the first option. (non-brembo)

i've always been wary of the drilled rotors. they CAN crack. not all do. but i'd rather be safe than sorry. the slotted vent off enough heat anyways IMO.

for custom orders please see the updated payment instructions in the first post. in the email make sure to put in that you are from the sentra groupbuy and also the base group buy price (either $290 or $380 for the rotors, pads, and lines) so they can deduct accordingly to your custom order. if you dont understand just let me know and ill help you create the email thing.

jsut got my response. the black and gold zinc coatings do cover the full rotor, but where the pads touch the rotors when braking, it will strip the coating and bring that spot back to silver.
also added the fact that this GB will only run until the end of this month. meaning october 31st is going to be the last day to get in on this
