NickinAround: tire pressures even and it only has bout 1500 miles on it.
02:16:27 NickinAround: It used to be a completely smooth drive, but now it's bumping like "smooooth :lil bump: smoooth :lil bump: so on and so on.
02:15:36 NickinAround: It's suddle but noticeable, and carmax is denying there is anything.
02:15:03 NickinAround: Well if anyone picks up on this, my 08 SE-R seems to be "bumping" when I drive, even on smooth even pavement. To make a diagram of sorts, -----^----^-----^
Posting from chat cause it explains it pretty well, completely stock. It is doing it at all speeds, even 5mph drift, and it kind of screws with my driving at higher speeds.
Any help on what it could be so I can bring so ammo to Carmax next week would be appreciated.

does your steering wheel move when this happens?

I've noticed my steering wheel is constantly pulling to the left. I hit some horrible baltimore city roads about 2 weeks ago, but am not sure if that is the culprit. It's a subtle pull but it's there.

get your alignment checked out for that pull...but as far as feeling like a bump and then smooth and bump again...thats weird...i cant think of anything...unless something is loose and intermitently hitting or bumping

Yeah it's weird, at higher speeds I literally thought I had the beginnings of a slow leak flat, it's like it's almost raising for a second in the rear and dropping down, but very small, but just enough to screw me up.

i dont knot dude...maybe its just in your head....have you tried driving it around in other places or roads?..or had someone drive it and see if they notice it without you suggesting it?

The other person driving is a good idea, like someone impartial with nothing to gain or loose, I'll try that, as for the different roads, yeah, all over, even a freshly tarred and paved 1/4 mile that is smooth as silk, and it's like this subtle bump/raising up in back feeling.

yeah dude...just take a look maybe something is loose..and the whole back thing moving up and down?....that sounds like some ghost shit lol jk...na i cant think of anything for that either...except when you floor it and let off the gas and the car moves lol

it does sound like alignment if its pulling in one direction.

I'll pass this info along to Carmax, and won't take no for an answer if they try and dick me over again. I have a feeling those horrible roads in Bmore might have done it. Horrible holes in the road and big wide missing blocks of road, I felt like I was in hell when driving down there. Thanks a lot guys! Oh and if anyone has input, continue to post until I get back to ya guys on it.
Thanks again!

Last sunday I went driving in the mountains and pushed the car a bit. Since then, I feel like there is this vibration i notice. It's not a huge vibration, but I didn't notice it before. My gf just thinks i'm being paranoid, but I'm the one who drives the car all the time, not her. The only thing I could think it could be is rotors. My dad said if the rotors were warped, I would definitely feel it, and the steering wheel would shake. Could this vibration just be the rotors starting to warp? If not, any ideas as to what it could be? Also, how long does the warranty cover the warping brakes issue?

You just reminded me of that vibration issue, my steering wheel has been kind of funny like that lately too. I'd be interested in hearing the answer to that as well.

It could be you threw a rim weight, but it could also be the expansion joints in the road, as it slowely gets cooler out side.

maybe a flat spot on your tires, or you have damaged the edge of the rim, making a flat spot there too.
