He's charging more the for the SR swap, because it requires much more work then the VQ does. Go with the VQ swap.

If you want an SR, buy an 00/01 SE instead of an SE-R. you could throw a pulsar motor in there, or travis could....

Oops quoted wrong. The DET costs more (5500), the VE is cheaper (4500). I'd personally go with the SR20VE, but it's your choice. Shoot him a pm.

No way in hell two different powerbands. Might make same whp at peak but the VQ will have much more low end torque and meatier powerband.

I say VQ.

well yeah, the torque numbers wont be anywhere close to each other.  The VQ has a huge aftermarket support as does the SR.  It'd be badass but until u HEAR the VVL kick in by using a MSD box to activate it around 4800rpm, u'll understand.  It makes VTEC sound like a whisper.

I rode in a Ve equiped 200sx smiley-wink

The VE is much more suitable for b13 or b14 IMHO.

Exactly

I have to lighten up; he is only one guy with lots of projects in his life as well as here.
no possible way he can get shifter bushings, motor mounts, wiring harnesses, custom cams, peoples plugs,b16 turbo prototypes, and oh yeah my car from scratch to finish
in one day on the 9th
And answer all the pms from me, you and everybody else. lol

Imagine Travis with out a machine shop to even start some of those above projects.

If all those things are going to get done, this is going to take awhile, no?
