Headlight Aiming Help

Well I got HIDs and I was adjusting my driver side light up to match the height of my passenger side one. I kept turning it up and it wouldn't go up any higher then the beam just fell down and won't go up or down. I took the headlight off the car and couldn't find out how to fix it. Any ideas?

Re: Headlight Aiming Help

you could have stripped it, which would suck...i had the same issue..but i used a ratchet to adjust mine and i just kept slowly raising it higher..but i have aftermarket headlight housings.

did you ever find out what it was?

Re: Headlight Aiming Help

No. I also have after market headlights. I guess I did strip it. I tried raising it for like 5 min but it didn't work. You think there is any point of cracking the housing to see?
