Anyone have any experience with TECHNOSQUARE, Inc.?

They have some ECU products for the B15, any of the B15 guys have any knowledge of these guys?
B16 guys need to send them some emails to get them up to speed!

yes, they can reflash the b15 ecu and raise the rev limiter, which a few people here have done through them

Re: Anyone have any experience with TECHNOSQUARE, Inc.?

Our qrs rev to 7200 smiley-smile stock.

I am curious just how high the qr continues to make power. The power levels off but never drops up until the rev limiter. I wonder just how much higher it will make power, I for one would love a tunable solution, probably the main reason I haven't spent a dime on my car recently.

At 6200rpms the power hits it's peak and stays there all the way until the rev limiter. So if we can speeze out another 300rpms to 7500. I wonder if the stock cams will do anything up there. Who knows maybe higher?

7200 is the rev limiter.  The dash tach is notoriously inaccurate.

How likely is it that it can be retuned for a change in parts?  like built N/A to turbo or a new set of cams.

They offer retuning on the B15 ones... like if the person wants a higher or lower redline, and it's rather cheap I think once you're already a customer.

hmm... mine pulls to redline and I nearly bounce every shift when hitting it hard (nismo cammed - wants to go higher so bad lol) so not really the point.  But yeah, if they r the same cams and springs as b15 he woulda' had a pretzel factory at anything over 7200 rpms imho.  JWT concurs lolz.  This is probably a case of mishift with a rev bounce - it'll be okay - slow tach drop too.  If he was logging I would say different with pix - but otherwise, just a fluke.

LOL- I may have just been party to smiley-threadjacked

I guess this is really about TS doin' up the b16 ecu - if the stock red is 7200, and it has the same springs/cam profile as a b15, then it wouldn't be a good idea to raise the redline imho.

Actually no.  The crank, rods, pistons, bearings, head, and cams are all different from the B15.  From the information we have, the springs are the same rate, but the lifter buckets are 9 grams lighter.  This would let a lighter spring rev higher.
