so i think i might be having a problem with my ignition. i just went through the headaches of the butterfly screw and the pre cat fail. i lost a valve and 2 screws in CYCL 4. i caught it early and it didnt do serious damnage. the screws we think we into the pre cat and caused that to fail. so i locktited my new plates and screws in, got a set of dc headers, and now im good to go. i also replaced my crank shaft pos sendor and camshaft sensor.
im now getting a missfire in cycl 1. if i am in WOT at around 4500 RPM i feel loss of power and see my CEL flash at me. i did a coil pack and plug swap test and nothing changed. i swapped injectors around and got nothing. i performed a power balance test and everything is ok at idle. the car drives fine as well at normal grandma driving speeds.
now the thing i am wandering is maybe there is something wrong with my ignition, i doubt that theres an internal problem becuase i think that the car wouldnt run as well under low load or idle.
has anyone had any problems with anything like this?
