OK so after my 20 page thread on Turbo and AUTOTRAGICS I have been reading and reading and reading and pricing shit out and talking to every Turbo Guru on here and this is what I have come up iwth for my list. Please keep in mind that this is an AUTOTRAGIC and i am not looking for huge power and this is my DD. There are extras on here that arent needed but they are what i want so heres my list, if anyone has constructive comments or sees something that I am forgetting then please let me know. I dont want to see any Bashing going on. Thats not why I posted this. Thanks to all for the INFO that has gotten me to this point. those just kind of hold onto themselves.

the IC mount is depending on what you get... all the ones i've seen there's a tab in the middle of the IC, and you drill the metal thing in front of the condenser and mount it to that.

wow sounds like a lot of stuff from plx....does zetronix off the same shit? i know there dataloger and wideband guage is only 379..and you can add more onto it...maybe it can save you some cash

Yea I had a 45 minute conversation with bruce of protech and he explained everything to me and told i could even order my turbo and other stuff from him so I am very pleased with Protechs CUSTOMER SERVICE and I havent even bought from them yet.

When cutting the pipe can I use a plumbers tubing cutter IE PVC cutter like a rigid tubing cutter or should i use a hack saw? LOL

anything you want really...Cut off wheel, Bandsaw, etc. etc. etc.

also, get a silver IC, and paint one side black, the other silver. see what you like best.

I LOVED the way the black one looked...

Yeah you can paint the intercooler black if you want. Use the high heat stuff for it to last. Looks good but, dont rush into this. You can get stuff cheaper on site then those prices. Like the WRX injectors, log onto a subaru site and look through and post in the classifieds for the injectors. You can get them for anywhere from 75 to 100 bucks used. Same with with the turbo, IF you choose to go slightly used. You can get it Much cheaper. But thats if you want.

Also the wastegate spring, who did you talk to about the spring? Did they say what kind of psi you would have at the engine from it? I was curious about this myself. I was told that we would need about a 6psi spring to make 4.5 or so at the block.

The only thing that I might buy cheap is the injectors and even then I am scetchy about used things so I am buying all new and the best shit. I am really stoked about this I just got my SAFC II and am gonna be installing it this week then next will be the PLX devices Logger and wideband so. I keep this updated as I go. WOOT WOOT for BOOSTED AUTO SER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
