are you monitoring the correction values ?
what rpm range /throttle range are you in for this ?

Online

i started at -3 and worked all the way up to -10.
doing pulls from 2400 to 5200 (5200 it starts to go lean. probally need to get a fuel pump)
corrections are being made in the high throttle.
have my lo set at 13% and high at 18%

y not add positive corrections to add more fuel?

what are your afrs being logged as?

10.3 until 5200 comes around
i did put positive corrections but the safc isnt making corrections period.

how much boost are you peaking at?

and youve only been to -10... i had the same problem man close to 10.3 across the rpms -15 and it started making corrections it goes from -17 to -22 i think... what size injectors do u have?

Offline

wrx 440's with stock fuel pump
maybe ill try what you said then!

u should... fyi if its going lean in the upper rpms go alittle richer... im not on the positive side of corrections but near redline i richen it up to about -15 from -22 just to be on the safe side boost safc ftmfw... dont have the ne points near redline too close id have to check if u want me to but i think my last ne point tht i make corrections on is 6500???

Offline

isnt it supposed to be on the + side when adding fuel? (i have a feeling im about to feel very stupid)
Offline

Adam

not really im not adding fuel im going from -22 to -15 i think from one ne point to the last which is 6500 i think... it will make it richer becuz theres not as much fuel there and -15 is the sweet spot for my safc and setup i can probably go to -16 or -17 and make alittle more power but i havent gotten a chance to tune in a bit... im not telling u to set it to -15 just watch ur datalogs and watch were the afrs start to shift... if its not making corrections at -10 then go up slowly as much as 1% from that point... follow?

i read your sentence wrong
ill try it when im not lazy.

laziness ftw lol especially since its officially.... SUNDAY!!!! well when u do try it lets know how it goes.
also when u do decide to do this monitor ur afrs carefully and dont do the corrections i said i have... sorry got to stress that... not sure the differences between boost safc and stock safc but my afrs are borderline 12:1 so dont know if that would make it higher or lower

it doesnt have to be on the + side. you can have lets say -20 and you go to -10 thats adding some positive corrections. the closer you get to ZERO on the negative side, your adding more fuel.

im definatly going to be in the + side of things. afr's go beyond 12.5 past 5400

whats ur afr when it passes 5400rpms to redline?
what is your corrections at 5400rpms to redline?
What do u want your afr to be?
Online

im staying away from 5400+ rpm as soon as i saw it was getting high but its +10 from there on.
afr is high 11's and climbing which is why i think its the fuel pump.
im shooting for 11:1 afr at redline
yes i know how. its just the safc wasnt making the corrections i was telling it to

yea it's the pump. u need it to push more out. but your injectors or not toped out right?

i have wrx 440's in right now. they shouldn't be tapped.
lookin for a wrx fuel pump right now since they drop in without modification

I didn't know that. How much fuel does the WRX pump flow compared to the Spec pump??
