toulene and torco fuel additive

i heard it can be found at paint sotes, home depot etc from a friend, and can be a cheap alternative to race gas

and that it is a alternative to race fuel, and ghetto "octane boosters" found at your local auto parts store

from what im reading, this stuff is in your gasoline already, you obviously are just increasing  the amounts of it, so thus boosting your octane

ive heard its safe, for the most part, and can be found roughly cheap

thoughts ideas?

also, ive heard about torco, which is also suppose to raise octane higher, and alot higher, anyone know how much or how it works, even torcos website says nothing, just says its an octane booster

im looking into this because whem im boosted imma be looking for all power means possible

octane boosters don't raise octane all that much, just so you know...

Re: toulene and torco fuel additive

I would suggest looking into e85... it's relatively cheap and has an octane rating of 100-105.  How much boost do you plan on running?

Also, octane boosters and higher octane gas will not give you extra power, only prevent detonation.

Re: toulene and torco fuel additive

i would go with either e85 (if your comfortable with it) of water/meth/alky injection and a good tune.

you planning on forced induction soon?
