Has anyone seen/used

I found this cool little shift light and was wondering if anyone has used one similar to it(launch mode). Cuz i haven't and i think that's pretty freakin cool.

Have you ever been to a drag strip? If so you'd know that there are more important things than the tach to be watching, e.g. the tree when preparing to launch, and the track itself afterwards. When you're going down the track, a SHIFT NOW indicator is a lot more suitable than watching the needle sweep towards redline.
