so I'm driving around with my buddy who has an rsx-s and I'm being a little hard on my car and all of a sudden my car starts smoking like crazy and I pull over shut offthe car and walk away from it. My brakes are just engulfed in smoke and it just keeps coming out. Took it a good 5 min for the smoke to calm down. What could it be from? Do I need new brake pads? Thanks I'm advance. Oh and I have been hard on the car plenty of times before

Are you still under warranty?

IIRC there's a brake recall for the +07s

Yeah I would just take it to the dealer and let them worry about it.

yup, get that fixed under warranty. claim your car shakes when braking at high speeds and you'll also get your rotors turned while they do a full brake inspection.
Also, Saint, who is that girl...I keep seeing her in your sig on all the posts and I am getting turned on way too often now =P

My car is not affected by the recall
Also I had my rotors turned once already. They warped again and they put new rotors on my car like 2-3k miles ago

If your brakes are smoking, Your riding your brakes, or a caliper is stuck. Excessive braking will Ignite our lovely Non aspestos (sp?)-Organic Pads.

my brakes feel fine.. I havnt been hard with them since
I was not riding them, I was being "rough" on them but I dont ride my brakes.. and both were smoking.. so I assume they just couldnt handle the excessive braking.. but I have had the car over a year and have never had this problem.

As was stated, is sounds as if your calipers froze. That would definately cause smoking.
