I was looking around at some sites tonight and ran into this device. I tried to do some searching about it but couldn't find anything. Has anyone heard of it. I think this would be under the fuel section but not sure. Sorry if not.
They make 2 styles:
HKS AFR Type L - The HKS AFR is a fuel-adjustment device that regulates the air/fuel ratio by changing the airflow voltage output to the vehicles factory computer. The AFR was designed for vehicles that are lightly tuned (intake, exhaust system, etc.) and need only slight fuel adjustment. The 12 setting adjustment indicator allows the user to enrich or lean the stock fuel settings by approximately 1.0 A/R point in either direction (richer or leaner). Type-L is designed for vehicles that utilize an air flow meter.
HKS AFR Type D - The HKS AFR is a fuel-adjustment device that regulates the air/fuel ratio by changing the airflow voltage output to the vehicles factory computer. Type-D is designed to work on vehicles that utilize a pressure sensor.
Obviously the same device but for different type of meter/sensors.
Now my next question is what type would are car be. I am assuming it would be type D but i want to get some more input and i might look into purchasing it as it is fairly inexpensive.
This sounds a lot simpler than purchasing a AFC to tune it out.
Input Please!!!

Umm... that does the same thing as an SAFC... so it's not going to be "easier" or "different."

how many load points does it have ? safc has 2, dtec has 4

These sound like just HKS's version of an Apexi SAFC.
For the Sentra you'd use the type L, for air flow meter (aka MAF).

So this wouldn't be simpler to tune than a regular SAFC or AFC Neo? The functionality of it seems so much simpler than the tuning of a SAFC. I had a neo and was trying to self tune it and found it very difficult personally.
Here is a pic of it from the HKS site

that only lets you remove or add +/- 1% A/R across the entire board. So basically thats only good if you want your car to simply run a lil richer or leaner over all.

right now if i am not looking for a full tune then this would be the way to go correct? just to lean it out as i am running rich.
i have been reading about tuning a lot lately. just trying to see the direction i really want to go. how much further i want to tune my car as i plan on staying n/a.
right now i have i/h/e, catless.

I'm assuming you definitely have a wideband, right?
Honestly I'm having some trouble seeing much use out of this. Not enough adjustability.

What is the price, too?
No sense in paying a ton for not much benefit...

the prices i found were between $100 and $125. about half of a SAFC (or less than half) for about half the functionality.
