
i'm gonna buy a electric oil pressure gauge, someone please school me on what i need for the install. i'm good with wiring, but i'm not quite sure which sending unit i need or where to install it. would the one that fits into the drain plug work?

what gauge you buying? i have a prosport gauge and it comes with sender and everything. Im using a prosport oil filter sandwich to use as a source for the sender.

Nothing in the drain plug area is going to be any good for pressure, since there's no pressure in the pan. A plug adapter would work for a temperature gauge though.
For a pressure gauge your options are either the oil filter sandwich (bleh) or the Nissport adapter, which I prefer. It screws into where the stock oil pressure switch is located, and then the stock switch screws into the adapter. It has like three additional ports for turbo oil feeds, pressure gauges, etc.

I've read alot about a majority of people using the nissport adapter... is there any other comparable options? or is that the best way to go for oil pressure guage, and the eventual turbo lines?
