what gauge you buying? i have a prosport gauge and it comes with sender and everything. Im using a prosport oil filter sandwich to use as a source for the sender.

Re: oil pressure gauge install

Nothing in the drain plug area is going to be any good for pressure, since there's no pressure in the pan. A plug adapter would work for a temperature gauge though.

For a pressure gauge your options are either the oil filter sandwich (bleh) or the Nissport adapter, which I prefer. It screws into where the stock oil pressure switch is located, and then the stock switch screws into the adapter. It has like three additional ports for turbo oil feeds, pressure gauges, etc.

I've read alot about a  majority of people using the nissport adapter... is there any other comparable options? or is that the best way to go for oil pressure guage, and the eventual turbo lines?
thanks.
