Many parts are custom or 1 off designs. HDE is helping out. There are serious problems with oil pressure and fuel pressure. As well as alot of other annoying problems. Such as cooling, and RF interferance (i love radio). Peaked 212 whp twice, usually been lower then that, but not by much. 200ish is my average. As such since most parts are prototypes, they dont stay on my car, I wish. But you guys will eventually see the fun stuff you too can play with, AFTER ALL THE BUGS ARE WORKED OUT! not before.

I stand corrected nice stuff.
Are those cams going to be released to the public alon with the other things they make. Are they interested in doing work like that for a spec v, fuck the drive I'll be there lol.
I'd love a 220whp spec.

The cams are just a regrind. Contact Crane with the grind you want, they can do it. Remember, 99% of the SE-R is still a spec v, So yeah, they will have stuff for the Spec.
You guys also gotta realize, ive been a Machinist for 10+ years, while my education is Automotive Engineering. I specialize in Aerodynamics, Chassis and suspensions, But i love engine too.
Bolt ons are great, but i perfer to start inwards, not outwards.
HDE is going to release alot of the parts when all the bugs are worked out. So unfortunitly i see a long wait ahead. Other plans are in the works with UR and Royalty Rotors, so there will be a few parts available hopefully soon.

just focus on suspension... thats cheap enuff for alot of ppl to buy AND we need it. most ppl here dont like spending big bucks on mods, so $200/item is more doable
now get me fsb, rsb, ltb, etc.

Hey atleast you have an Injen Intake, I had to borrow one. Im still deciding if im gonna make an Airbox, with a drop in generic rectangular K&N filter mounted below the hood scoop. When ever the hood is done. I hate having so little free time.
Ok, since i posted it, ill might aswell explain. I recently bought a hood from the junkyard to add a scoop too. There have been many posts about it, but nobody could find a scoop that just seems to fit our body style. With the help of a friend (sal), we came up with a viable design. The scoop from a Toyota Celica. It already follows our hood design. The middle just needs to be dropped down, and the scoop itself formed. I personally think it will look almost like it should have been there from factory, as it follows our body lines.
Here is a quick Google search of the hood im talking about. Hopefully you get the idea.

nice. I"ve definitely been looking into the headwork portion of engine modding but don't know a lot about it. If possible can you shoot me a PM with details on what was done to the head? also what rods and valves and such? I"m soon going to be able to afford a lot of this stuff. I'm also interested in a regrind for the cams.

thats awesome man, give us updates on how the CVT holds up with high hp

Offline

^^^ It should hold up quite well... it's the same transmission that is in the Maxima that has 300 hp or so... 220 whp should be no problem

there been a little problem with the cvt on maxima from what im hearing..... when they're where raning in the track (1/4m) like twice ... the cvt goes on safe mode and the car doesnt go above 30 (something like that) because the tranny has to cool down

Photocopy - Peak totals as per date. Sorry for the bad quality, My copier suxs. There are very fine grid lines, on the original, but dont show up here. I dont know why. And the font lines are weird on the original. Ill try to find a better quality one, tommorow. Other than that, Been working alot. New job, better pay. As soon as im free again, and we fix the fuel and oil issues, ill update again.

No, it was a calibration issue. But, its was the original motor, which was a Spec V motor. Nissans Infamous B designation.

Im gonna pull the link on that old dyno sheet. Its not quite accurate. Tommorow or Friday, the Video will be uploaded. And a better dyno sheet will be posted.

i thougth the autos have a 30% drivetrain loss and manual has 15% loss, wouldnt it yeild less numbers from stock? a 08 specv does average of 170whp so that would make the autos wut? 160whp?
